When Your Heart Needs Re-Centering | Your Nightly Prayer
Your Daily Prayer
Do you feel spiritually off-center lately?
Maybe you still love God.
You still believe.
You still want to follow Him.
But life has gotten loud.
Work.
Family.
Responsibilities.
Church commitments.
Plans.
Screens.

Even good things can slowly pull our attention away from Jesus.
Tonight’s Your Nightly Prayer is about re-centering.
Tonight’s Scripture
“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is…” — Colossians 3:1
We tend to move toward what holds our attention.
That’s why focus matters.
Sometimes distraction doesn’t begin with something obviously sinful.
Sometimes it begins with too much of a good thing.
A full calendar.
A worthy responsibility.
A goal.
An opportunity.
And then suddenly, Jesus is still part of our lives—but no longer at the center.
The good news?
You can come back.
Not through shame.
Not through trying harder in your own strength.
But through grace.
Tonight, ask yourself:
What has been getting more of my attention than Christ lately?
Then bring it honestly to Him.
Fix your eyes again.
Reset your priorities.
And rest in the truth that the Father receives you with mercy.
🙏 What has been pulling your focus lately?
You can simply pray:
“Jesus, bring my heart back to center.”
