Tonight's Your Nightly Prayer is for the person who is afraid of getting it wrong.

Tonight’s Scripture

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” — Psalm 32:8

Sometimes we approach God as though there is one hidden correct answer we must discover—or else we'll ruin His plan.

But God invites us into something deeper than simply receiving directions.

He invites us into relationship.

We seek Him.

We know His Word.

We listen for His guidance.

We receive wise counsel.

And then, sometimes, we prayerfully make the wisest decision we can and trust Him with what happens next.

Your security isn't found in your ability to make every decision perfectly.

It's found in the God who promises to walk with you.

Tonight, instead of only asking God, “Which decision is right?” consider asking:

“Jesus, how can I follow You faithfully from here?”
