When You Feel Forgotten | Your Nightly Prayer
Have you ever prayed and wondered if God was listening?
Maybe life feels painfully quiet.

A relationship ended.
Someone walked away.
You feel overlooked.
Rejected.
Unwanted.
Or simply forgotten.
And when God seems silent too, the loneliness can feel even heavier.
Tonight's Your Nightly Prayer is for that place.
Tonight's Scripture
“I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.” — Isaiah 49:15-16
Does God's silence mean He has forgotten you?
No.
Isaiah 49 gives us one of Scripture's most tender pictures of God's remembrance.
God compares His care to a mother's love for her child—and then says that even if such human love failed, His would not.
He has not lost sight of you.
He has not forgotten your name.
And His silence is not the same thing as His absence.
Tracie Miles knows what it feels like to question this during heartbreak. After her marriage ended, she describes feeling abandoned, panicked, and convinced that God was far away.
But our feelings, however real, do not always tell us the whole truth.
Tonight, come back to what Scripture says:
You are seen.
You are known.
You are loved.
You are not forgotten.
You may not understand what God is doing yet.
You may still be waiting.
You may still hurt.
But your pain is not proof that you have slipped from His sight.
🙏 Where have you been feeling overlooked or forgotten lately?
Pray:
“God, help me trust Your presence even when I cannot feel it.”
