Dear Lord,
It’s been a long day. Some of us are carrying heavy words that were spoken too quickly. Some of us are lying awake with wounds still raw. Father, You know how easy it is for anger to settle in our hearts like a storm that won’t pass. But You, God, are not the author of confusion or bitterness. You are peace. You are patience. You are the One who softens hearts and restores what pride tries to break.

Tonight, I surrender my anger. I don’t want to end the day with resentment still rooted in me. I need Your strength to let go—not because the pain wasn’t real, but because I trust You to carry what I can’t.
Help me forgive.
Help me rest.
Help me start fresh tomorrow, in Your mercy.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
