When kids won’t stop fighting in the pool, get them their own like anything else. #pools #funny
To get the project started, Abram and I went on a hunt for free lumber.
You see, Juliet wanted her pool “to be above Abrams.” So we needed to build a big deck.
We used old utility poles for posts, donated 2x12s for the beams and for the joists, then threw down scrap 2xs for the surface, and had us a deck Pinterest would love to report to OSHA.
We got a deal on a pool for Abram, set it up on dirt like normal people. Then built Juliet’s five feet in the air like, you fill in the blank.
With the leftover lumbar, we built a slide so epic, we had to put up signs. Or at least we should’ve.
But wait! There’s still more wood! And that’s when we build a high dive. Naturally, because safety comes first… somewhere.
To raise the stakes even higher-PUN-we added a zipline. Big thanks to my niece for “bravely?” testing it out.
At last, the pool fight were over. We had backyard peace, AND the ultimate party spot. One pool shy of a cease-and-desist from the city.
