When do you first feel your baby move? 🤍

Those first tiny flutters — called quickening — usually happen between 16 and 22 weeks.

First pregnancy? It may be closer to 20–22 weeks.
Been pregnant before? You might notice movement earlier, even around 14–16 weeks.

At first it can feel like bubbles, light taps, or butterflies. Over time, those flutters turn into rolls, stretches, and strong kicks.

You’ll notice movement most when you’re resting, after meals, or in the evening. By the third trimester, you’ll learn your baby’s normal pattern — and if movement ever slows significantly, check in with your provider.

Every little kick is your baby’s way of saying, “Hi, mama.” 🤍
