The point is the Greek word "transformed" only appears when we're referring to Jesus (Mount of Transfiguration) or this new creation we're talking about in Romans 12. And the word "renewing" only refers to the holy spirit in Titus or the new creation in Romans 12. So they're used very rarely in the Bible and never in a casual way.
