What is the biblical process to become perfect? Pt 3 Moments that Matter, Christian Questions
Israel was God’s chosen people They were responsible to live to higher standards than everyone else and have God and only God as their sovereign. They were blessed when they complied and accountable when they didn’t. We all know this resulted in their being cast off from God’s favor for rejecting Jesus. In a recent podcast we observed, this ultimate show of God’s disfavor set the stage for their future perfecting.
God’s promise to Abraham said that the nation born to him would bless all the families of the earth. Biblical prophecy plainly shows us that Israel’s dissolution as a nation would ultimately bring them back to their land and back to God. This is the first of many prophetic steps towards their perfecting. The reality of the regathered nation of Israel in their land is evidence of this process beginning.

What follows these introductory phases of Israel’s perfecting is lots of trouble that ultimately removes the ruling powers of this present evil world, so God’s power through Jesus can rule. Prophetically this sets the stage for the perfecting of all other broken down, tension filled world nations as well.
