What God SAID Is Enough to Take the Next STEP

YOU keep telling yourself YOU will move once things settle down — once the storm passes, once the fear lifts, once it finally feels safe. So YOU wait. And the conditions never quite cooperate, and the step never quite gets taken. But Matthew 14 reveals something YOU may have completely overlooked: YOU already have the one thing YOU actually need to move — and it was never the conditions.

The scene opens in the worst possible conditions.

It was the middle of the night. The wind was against them. They were straining, exhausted, far from shore, and nothing about the situation said this is the moment for something extraordinary. And it was right there — in the dark, against the wind — that someone came to them in a way that made no natural sense and terrified everyone who saw it. Then a word was spoken that settled the fear in an instant.

Here is what most people miss.

One person in that boat did not ask for the storm to stop. He did not wait for calm. He asked for one thing — a single word, an instruction — and the moment he received it, he did something no one has any business doing in conditions like that. What he had was not better weather. It was not a guarantee. It was just a word. And that word turned out to be more than enough to take a step that should have been impossible.

The conditions never changed. He moved anyway — on the strength of what was said.
