He certainly did. David was continuously alert to God's opportunity to his daily life. And I'm going to take just a couple of minutes here to talk a little bit about how this whole subject came up. The question is, do we get up and go to work and think, somewhere along the way today I'm hopefully going to serve God, or do we think today I'm going to serve God and along the way fulfill all of my other responsibilities? It's a question of what's your mind frame? It's a question of what is your highest priority? So I was in Denver, Colorado over the summer, and I remember I was with my two coworkers. We went to lunch and we had plenty of time. And after lunch we were walking back to our hotel and there was a man there on the street, and he had a sign that he was holding. And it was just an odd question on the sign, and it something about, what is this all for? And so this kind of bell went off into my mind and said, I need to stop and talk to this person. I need to get more, I need to find out why he is holding this sign. And if he's wondering genuinely, what is this all for, what a great opportunity to preach the gospel of the kingdom, right? And I didn't do it, and I didn't do it because my coworkers were with me. And I started to think, what are they going to think? Is it going to be awkward for them?
