Morality can have many definitions. Basically, Humanism says that instead of relying on God and religion as moral compasses, one should focus on individual and collective wellbeing. This is attained by relying on natural means such as science and reason.<br />

In a recent podcast we observed that as Christians, our moral compass comes directly from God and is based on the Bible. This approach provides us a constant and unchanging basis for the justice mercy and love with which we are required to treat one another.<br />

Questions need answering on both sides. How do Humanists factor in cultural and experiential biases as we interpret what is reasonable? Questions regarding the biblical approach revolve around the proclamation that one ancient and never changing approach to morality will always be right.<br />
