Helping the bereaved live through grief with comfort and cry with tears full of hope is the purpose of this session. We examine the steps of normal grief, what is going on inside, as well as how to help in each of these steps and some mistakes to avoid. We also consider how the view of mourning as a posthumous expression of love is a balm that mitigates grief, sheds light on the darkness of sorrow, and can help us grow.
