VE Day Service 2025 - Hope and Strength

The Choir of Westminster Abbey sing 'God is our Hope and Strength' - a setting of words from Psalm 46 - by John Rutter, during a Service of Thanksgiving to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day on 8th May 2025.

The anthem was composed specially for a service to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day in 2020 that was unable to go ahead as planned due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
