The Peace of a Clear Conscience | Your Nightly Prayer

Have you ever laid down at night, only to replay everything you wish you'd done differently?

The conversation you wish you could take back. The apology you haven't made. The resentment you've been holding onto.

Sometimes the heaviest thing we carry into bed isn't exhaustion. It's regret.

But here's the beautiful thing about God's grace: A clear conscience doesn't mean you've lived a perfect day. It means you can bring an imperfect day to a merciful God.

Acts 24:16 reminds us of the importance of keeping a clear conscience before God and others. Through Jesus, we can confess our mistakes, seek forgiveness, make things right where possible, and rest in His mercy.

Tonight, you don't have to carry yesterday's mistakes or today's regrets into tomorrow. Bring them honestly before God and let His forgiveness give you peace. 🀍

A prayer for tonight: Lord, search my heart. Show me what I need to confess, give me courage to make things right, and help me rest in Your forgiveness. Amen.
