The Lost Tapes: Sabbath Through the Ages is a documentary-style historical fiction film that explores how Christians across history have understood the Sabbath. The story centers on a fictional chapter in 119 Ministries’ past, in which a set of mysterious “lost tapes” is discovered from a time travel-expedition conducted in the 1980s. Through these recovered tapes, viewers follow a time-traveler on a journey tracing the Sabbath from the first-century synagogue, through the fifth-century Roman empire, the Reformation era, and into the modern age.
