The word safety in this verse means salvation, deliverance, and victory.
King Jehoshaphat got the victory over the three nations that came against him in 2 Chronicles 20 by counseling with his people. Taking their advice, he put the praise team in front of the army. And when they began to sing and praise, God sent confusion into the enemy’s camp, and they destroyed each other. In Acts 16, Paul had a dream about a man from Macedonia. After talking about it with those who served with him in the ministry, he realized it was God’s will for him to go to Macedonia. And the church of Phillipi resulted from their outreach in Macedonia.
