Elisha saw when Elijah was taken to heaven, and when Elijah’s mantle fell to the ground, he picked it up. And the same anointing that rested on Elijah came on Elisha. Elisha began to do the same miracles as his mentor. He split the Jordan River, conquered an army, raised a boy from the dead, and saw miracles of multiplication.
