The Discipline of Freedom | Pastor Sheryl Brady

The donkey that Jesus rode into Jerusalem had a lifetime of preparation, waiting, and bondage, all in anticipation of the day it would serve its Creator. Imagine that, the Master of all creation, needing something He created to fulfill both their destinies. It's always good to know that no matter how stubborn or ignorant we may be, God needs us and keeps us safe in holding until the right time.

In this way, we are shown an example of true freedom—being loosed only to become tools for the Master's use. Remember, it's not just enough to be loosed from something, but we must also be led to our assignment for Christ. In The Discipline of Freedom, Pastor Brady reminds us that God will free us at just the right moment so we can play our part in His wonderful plan.
