Today we’re continuing our 1 & 2 Peter Bible Study With Me series with 2 Peter 3. In this chapter, we see that God’s love is patient, but it is never passive. His seeming “delay” is really mercy—giving people time to repent because His heart is that all would come to know Him. Peter reminds us that scoffers will question God’s promises, the world will twist what He says, and everything hidden will one day be exposed. But woven through it all is a steady reassurance: God keeps His word. Christ will return. And the world as we know it will be made new.
