From the pagan city of Ur to the hills of Canaan, we follow Abram’s footsteps as he answers God’s radical call: “Go from your country and your kindred… to the land that I will show you.”

In this first episode, Abram leaves his homeland, his family, and his familiar gods at age 75 to follow the one true God. God gives him seven powerful promises, including land, descendants as numerous as the stars, and that through him all families of the earth would be blessed. Along the journey, Abram builds altars and worships God in the new land.

A severe famine forces him into Egypt, where fear leads him to make a costly mistake involving his wife, Sarai. After returning to Canaan, tension rises between Abram and his nephew Lot, leading to their parting of ways. Abram shows courage in a daring rescue mission to save Lot from enemy kings. He meets the mysterious Melchizedek, king and priest of God Most High. Finally, God formalises His covenant with Abram in a powerful vision, promising the land from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates and descendants as countless as the stars.
