Tabana saw the extremist Islam in her community as a religion of fear and intimidation, not of love.

Ever since she was a teenager, Tabana admired Christianity and dreamed of going to a church to pray, but finding Christians or talking about these things with her family would be difficult.

Then one night, Tabana had a dream about a church and a cross. Upon waking, she was inspired, so she turned to social media to see what she could learn.

Tabana watched several videos and asked to be connected to a believer in her community. Daoud, who made the videos she had watched, followed up and prayed for her.

Through their discussion, she felt ready to seek out a church. Daoud said, “My heart filled with joy and my eyes with tears.“

Tabana’s testimony reminds us of the words of the psalmist: “Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4).

Not only is Tabana now part of a church that helps her to grow, but she is also offering to help others in her area who are looking for a Christian community!
