Homemade pop tart recipe๐
Pie crust:
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 cup butter (cut into cubes & cold)
6 TBSP ice cold water

1 jar of strawberry preserves
Icing:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Splash of milk
1 tsp strawberry preserves
To make:
Mix all the dry ingredients for the pie crust. Cut in the cubes of butter until the butter has about pea size pieces. Add cold water 1 tablespoon at a time until it forms a rough ball. Put in the fridge to cool for about 15-30 minutes. Roll out dough & cut into rectangles. Add a TBSP of preserves and seal with fork. Poke holes in the top and add egg wash (if you want golden brown edges). Bake for 20 mins or until golden brown at 375. Once cooked, add the icing and top with sprinkles ๐ ENJOY!
