Starting Numbers!!!! Day 11 of reading through the entire Bible!

I just started reading the book of Numbers, and before jumping in, I slowed down to spend time with the background—who wrote it, who it was written to, and why it matters. This is one of those books people often rush through or skip entirely, but the more I studied, the more I realized how important it actually is.

Numbers isn’t just lists, locations, or census data. It tells the story of a real people learning how to trust God in the middle of wandering, obedience, failure, and growth. Taking time to understand the purpose of this book has completely changed how I approach reading it—and reminded me that all Scripture is profitable, even the parts that don’t make sense at first.
