Sowing and Reaping: A Reflection and Prayer on Galatians 6:8 | #bibleverseoftheday
In this video, I share a reflection and a prayer on Galatians 6:8, a verse that challenges us to choose between living by the flesh or by the Spirit.
I also pray that God would help us to sow to please the Spirit and reap eternal life.

Galatians 6:8 is a verse from the New Testament that warns us about the consequences of our choices. It says:
‘Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.’
This verse tells us that we have two choices in life: to live by the flesh or by the Spirit. The flesh leads to death, but the Spirit leads to eternal life. We will reap what we sow, so we should examine our actions and motives. Are we pleasing God or ourselves?
Let us Pray:
Heavenly Father, thank you for your word that guides us and instructs us. Thank you for sending your Son Jesus to die for our sins and to give us the gift of the Holy Spirit. Help us to sow to please the Spirit, not the flesh. Help us to resist the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil. Help us to live by faith, not by sight. Help us to seek your kingdom and your righteousness, not our own. Help us to bear the fruit of the Spirit, not the works of the flesh. Help us to reap eternal life, not destruction. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
