William Secker (died c. 1681) was an English Puritan clergyman in the Church of England and a prolific religious writer known for his practical sermons and devotional works. Early Life and Career: Little is known of Secker's birth or early years, but he served as a preacher in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, before moving to London, where he ministered at All Hallows, London Wall. He may also have been appointed rector of Leigh, Essex, on 30 August 1667, holding the position until his death before November 1681. His ministry emphasized Puritan themes of personal piety and sanctified living amid the religious upheavals of the Restoration era.
