As many of you know, an important part of a BYU student’s first year experience is attending BYU devotionals and forums in the Marriott Center on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. Many alumni fondly remember listening to these speeches in person, and current students find peace, unity, and direction by going to university devotionals. For students who are starting their first year on BYU campus, we encourage you to take advantage of these special occasions.

President C. Shane Reese said: “I hope you will all make it a priority to join us for the forums and devotionals this fall. They enlighten, fulfill, and bring purpose and motivation to our daily work” (Deliberate Student Centeredness, 2019).
We invite new students to join with the BYU student body in attending devotionals and forums weekly, either in the Marriott Center or West Campus. We promise that as you do so, you will receive blessings in your schooling and in your lives.
