Positioned to Receive FAVOR

In today’s sermon, we explore what Scripture teaches about living in alignment with God so that His favor flows freely in our lives. Favor is not accidental—it's the result of posture, obedience, and proximity to God’s heart.

Drawing from Luke 2:51–52, we see Jesus Himself grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man. We then journey through Acts 2:46–47, discovering how the early church positioned itself for continuous blessing through unity, devotion, and joyful worship. Proverbs 3:1–6 reminds us that favor comes through trusting the Lord wholeheartedly, while Proverbs 8:17, 34–35 reveals the rewards of diligently seeking Him. Finally, Psalm 5:12 assures us that God surrounds the righteous with favor like a shield.
