"Passion Assassins" | Pastor Sheryl Brady

The enemy’s only agenda is to steal, kill, and destroy—but Jesus came to give life, and life more abundantly. One of the enemy’s prime targets is your passion—the God-given drive, energy, and fire that fuels obedience, service, creativity, and perseverance. Passion is priceless, but it is not self-sustaining—it must be protected.

Through vivid imagery, Pastor Brady identified eight “Passion Assassins”: unclear purpose, overstuffed schedules, unresolved conflict, isolation, unexamined life, undernourished soul, unapplied truth, and unexpressed faith. Each one leaks vitality and leaves believers vulnerable to weariness and defeat.

The call is urgent: discern the enemy’s strategies, guard the fire within, and keep your “why” clear so that no matter the losses, griefs, or battles, you can still stand and say, “I’m still here.” Abundant life is more than survival—it’s living with holy energy, sustained by God’s Word, obedience, community, and daily expression of faith.
