⚠️Thins are blurred but this is a very raw look into our experience. I hope that this can share with other soon-to-be mamas that even a “worst case scenario” can turn out okay. I watched soso many birth vlogs and videos while i was pregnant and they were so helpful in preparing me mentally for labor. Im endlesly grateful for the women who so vulnerably put their experiences on the internet to help prepare other women. Heres a look into our story. ⚠️<br />

On January 3rd, 2024 Micah James Gunn entered the world. When the clock struck midnight into New Year’s Day, contractions began. We had planned on a home birth but after many many hours of labor and pushing at home we were rushed to the hospital for an emergency C-section. After 3 days in the hospital for me and 5 days in the NICU for our sweet boy we finally got to begin our lives as a family. The delivery experience ended up being far from anything we hoped for or imagined, but God’s faithfulness has shone so so bright through it all. Thank you for coming along side our family in prayer, celebrating his arrival and sharing in our experience.<br />
