NPS removes Rev. Pauli Murray's biography from its website and scrubs LGBTQ+ references!

The first Black female Episcopal priest and civil rights icon's page now returns "Page not found." References to her transgender and queer identities have been altered or removed entirely.

"We will not be deterred from uplifting Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray's identity, life, and legacy," states Angela Thorpe Mason of the Pauli Murray Center, which is fighting back against what they call "the federal government's efforts to erase" Murray.

These changes follow Trump's executive order declaring only two sexes and mandating removal of "gender ideology" from federal communications.
