No Longer Male and Female - Series Introduction
How can Christians approach conversations about gender with faithfulness, compassion, and curiosity? Will Brown introduces the questions at the heart of _No Longer Male and Female_ and explains how this study can help individuals and groups explore gender through Scripture.
Explore questions about gender and Christian faith with curiosity, compassion, and a deeper engagement with Scripture. In this nine-part video series, Baptist minister and author Will Brown introduces key themes from his book, _No Longer Male and Female: A Biblical Guide for Our Questions about Gender._
Drawing on his experiences as a pastor, biblical scholar, and parent of a nonbinary child, Brown helps viewers consider questions that may feel unfamiliar or difficult. What do we mean by “male” and “female”? Why do pronouns matter? What does the Bible say about people who do not fit traditional gender categories? And how can churches faithfully welcome transgender, nonbinary, and other gender-expansive people?
These brief session introductions are designed to accompany individual reading, family conversations, Bible studies, and small-group or congregational discussions. Rather than offering easy answers, Brown encourages Christians to listen carefully, examine their assumptions, and approach Scripture and one another with humility.
