Metro Prayer Breakfast (2023) - Omar Alemán
Omar Alemán was born in Cuba and migrated to the United States where he completed high school and then a Bachelors in Criminology and a Masters in Criminal Psychology. He joined the Drug Enforcement Administration where he spent the next 32 years serving as a criminal investigator, covert agent, intelligence advisor, eradication campaign coordinator, demand reduction coordinator, and training director. He participated in the Panama invasion of 1989 and personally arrested dictator Manuel Noriega. Mr. Alemán was named Federal Employee of the Year in 1997.
Upon retirement from the DEA, he established Alemán & Associates, which provides drug-free workplace training nationally and consultation to law enforcement agencies overseas. He has served on the boards of several Christian non-profit organizations and currently leads CBMC Latino in South Florida. He is married to Julianne and has two children, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
