Mel Gibson Reveals First Look at "The Resurrection of the Christ"

Mel Gibson is opening up about his long-awaited follow-up to "The Passion of the Christ." As the 2004 classic returns to theaters this month in remastered 4K, Gibson shares a behind-the-scenes first look at "The Resurrection of the Christ: Part One," out May 2027. He reveals the film will journey through "different realms," including Hell and the moments before creation, while filling in gaps left by the Gospels. Gibson insists these creative choices won't contradict orthodox theology, but will "enhance" the story for a new generation of viewers.
