Jesus Was Worshiped as God Before Nicaea
Many people believe the idea that Jesus was only declared God at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD, but that’s simply not true. In this video, I expose the myth popularized by The Da Vinci Code and show, using direct quotes from five Church Fathers: Ignatius, Polycarp, Irenaeus, Justin Martyr, and Clement of Alexandria, that Jesus was worshiped as God long before Nicaea. All five wrote more than a century before the council and clearly affirmed Christ’s divinity as a foundational belief of the early Church, not a later invention.
