We live in a day and age where pets have become the new children, plants have become the new pets and tragically children have become dispensable. We see more people outraged at dog fighting or animal cruelty than ab*rti*n or child ab*se.

Unfortunately, this is nothing new. This has been Satan’s plan since the fall of man. To elevate the value of beasts above humans and reduce humans to beastly or animalistic desires and behaviors including k*ll*ng their young.

Don’t misunderstand me. I am in no way saying animals don’t matter and don’t deserve our care nor that they can’t be an important part of the family. I am saying that they will never replace or supersede the value of humans created in the image of God.

We have to repent of this inordinate affection and get back in order and start valuing and protecting the most innocent and defenseless beings: our babies.
