Is the number 666 in Revelation 13:18 a reference to the name of Allah and will the Antichrist be a Muslim? That's what some Christians are saying. Supposedly the Greek spelling of 666 in the Bible is similar to the spelling of "in the name of Allah" in Arabic. In addition, Muslim headbands display the name of Allah on them, so some Christians are speculating that this is the mark of the beast which the Bible says will appear on people's foreheads or hands. In terms of the Antichrist, the Quran teaches that a Muslim Messiah will appear during a time of great tribulation and rule for seven years from the temple mount in Jerusalem. This is similar to what many Christians believe the Antichrist will do, who is also supposed to appear during the seven years of tribulation after the rapture and take his seat in the Jewish rebuilt temple on the Temple Mount.
