Is parental discipline of our children a thing of the past? Moments that Matter, Christian Questions
We all want the very best for our children. Portions of Proverbs are King Solomon writing to his son about life, growing up and wisdom. In a recent podcast we observed that little has changed over thousands of years when it comes to loving and protecting our kids.
Cell phones put the world into the palm of your hand. This exposure opens issues that Solomon never knew. One example; managing the “what ifs” our children may face. Long ago, “what ifs” were about things like crops, weather and war. Now our endless “what ifs” include, what if my child has emotional, learning or physical issues? What if they get bullied or become a bully?

The Bible doesn’t deal with individual “what ifs” but does teach the needed principles to face ALL of them. Those principles are found in the many passages that help us cope with the unknown. There are also many biblical teachings that show us the amazing example of how God parents us. Learning from God is learning from the best!
How do we handle life's what if's? How to we manage our own imperfections and what methods of discipline work best? For the answers to these questions and scriptural support listen to the full podcast here: https://christianquestions.com/program/1238-christian-parents-discipline/
