“In every photo from your childhood, you have the biggest smile out of everyone in the photo.” This was one of the greatest compliments i ever received. I felt SEEN for something that has always been at my core: a confidence that joy will forever find a way even in the chaos.
I’ve always been an optimist. I am practical, logical and realistic about risk - while always finding time and space to say, with the biggest smile in the room, “What if…?”
I see and feel the daily heaviness in our world, communities, villages and homes. I research statistics and pray over advocates and mentally, spiritually and emotionally prepare for whatever the worst outcome may be. I hope for justice, pray for peace and ball my fists in anger as I’m humbled to surrender to look to the hills and wonder… what if ⛅️
