How we paid off our mortgage in 9 months 🤯🙌🏼 #christianity

I remember going to pray to God and ask him to help get our mortgage paid off faster. We had to plan, It was gonna take us three or four years. <br />

But I, I'm an American. I want it faster. So I was praying to God , And I remember one of the clearest things that He's ever dropped in my heart. He said, if you really wanna see me move on your finances, I want you to begin giving your age as a percentage of your income.<br />
<br />
  And at that point I'm standing in a field praying. I looked up to heaven, scratched my head. I'm like, what is that? I've never heard of that. There's no way That idea just came from my mind - that is not what I wanted to do. I'm on a race to pay off my mortgage. And so I start wrestling with this a little bit and doing math. I didn't even know if we could buy groceries if we did this. <br />
<br />
 And really it felt like laying down our goal of paying off the mortgage on the altar. It was going to take us 12 years or something to pay off the mortgage now if we give all of our extra money away, which is pretty much what we did. <br />
<br />
 The most amazing thing is that nine months later, our mortgage was paid off and it makes no sense. Still to this day, like I can't tell you exactly how it happened because I don't know, it was just, One of those crazy things that God did that he invited us on.
