How strong are my relationships? (Pt 2) Moments that Matter, Christian Questions

Family and close friend relationships are easy targets for frustrations and issues. These are the people closest to us and therefore these are the people we are often more easily irritated by. In a recent podcast we observed how the Bible gives us several ways to approach these challenges. One approach: listen to Jesus! I know, this is basic, so let’s get specific.

In Matthew 7 Jesus in a very exaggerated way talked about judging others. He instructed us to remove the log from our own eye before we try and remove the speck of sawdust from someone else’s eye. It’s a simple lesson; right your own attitude and perspective before approaching those things in someone you care about. Being willing to do this shows that we deeply care for and respect those in our lives who may be having issues.
