How can I transform my prayer life? (Pt I) Moments that Matter, Christian Questions

Let’s look at a few fundamental prayer questions. First, does God hear and answer every single prayer? Based on several scriptures, the answer is no. Why not? In a recent podcast we observed how the Bible describes unheeded prayers as from those who are wicked, idolatrous and not following God’s Law. Further, His answers are directly related to how focused we are on seeking His will over our own desires.

Second, what about when God says “No!”? Does this mean we are praying for the wrong things or with the wrong attitude? There are several scriptural examples of very faithful ones receiving “no” answers from God. This means there are good reasons for “no” answers! Third, does God ever want us to stop praying? The answer here might seem obvious, but the scriptures show us there is a much deeper purpose here that we may not realize.
