Hope for the One Carrying Secret Grief | Psalm 55:17
“Morning, noon, and night I cry out in my distress, and the LORD hears my voice.” — Psalm 55:17
Some grief is public.
Some is private.
Some wounds are easy to name.
Others stay hidden for months or years.
But nothing about your sorrow is hidden from God.
Psalm 56:8 reminds us that He sees every tear.
He knows the grief you haven’t put into words.
He knows the moments when you keep going even though you feel crushed inside.
And He listens when you finally bring the pain to Him.
David cried out honestly in Psalm 55.
He felt fear.
He wanted escape.
He was overwhelmed.
And still, he trusted that God would hear.
You can do the same tonight.
You do not have to explain everything perfectly.
You do not have to minimize what hurts.
You do not have to carry this in silence before God.
