Homemaker, When You Want to Be Content… But Aren’t | Honest Homemaking & Faith

Homemaking is deeply tied to contentment, yet many Christian homemakers quietly struggle to feel the peace they know God calls them to live in.

In this video, I share an honest conversation while tending to my dining room about the quiet struggle many homemakers face , wanting to be content, knowing what Scripture teaches, and yet wrestling inwardly with feelings that do not always follow immediately.

There are seasons when a woman desires to live as the Titus 2 woman, to be grateful, peaceful, and settled in her role, but finds herself still learning what that truly looks like in daily life. Contentment is not something the world teaches us. It is something God patiently forms in us, often slowly, and often in the middle of ordinary work.

This is not a message of perfection, but of honesty, growth, and faith, trusting that God is faithful to shape the heart that is willing to follow Him.

If you find yourself in that place, you are not alone.
