In 1 Samuel 16, we meet David, a young shepherd who wasn’t even invited to the gathering where his brothers stood before the prophet Samuel. He was completely overlooked by his own family—yet chosen by God to be the next king of Israel.
From the world’s perspective, David didn’t “look the part.” But God wasn’t concerned with appearances—He was looking at the heart. And just like David, your worth isn’t in how others see you, but in who you belong to. God sees you, even when people don’t.
In this video we’ll walk through David’s anointing, why you don’t need to fit a mold to be used by God, and how seasons of waiting or being overlooked are often preparation for the purposes He has ahead.
