God Is Steady When Life Feels Shifty | Your Nightly Prayer

Tonight’s Your Nightly Prayer is a reminder that while your circumstances can change quickly, God does not.

Tonight’s Scripture
“For I, the LORD, do not change…” — Malachi 3:6

Malachi was speaking to people whose lives felt anything but stable.
And yet God reminded them of something stronger than their circumstances:
His character.
He is faithful.
He is steady.
He is not surprised by what surprises you.
He does not forget His promises.
And He does not become less faithful because you are tired.

Sometimes all you can pray is:
“Help me, Lord.”
And even then, His faithfulness does not weaken.
Tonight, instead of asking whether everything around you will become predictable, ask God to anchor you in what is already certain.
He has not changed.
He is still near.
He is still faithful.
And the God who carried you yesterday is already present in tomorrow.

“Father, steady me with Your unchanging love.”
