God Is Not Rushed by Your Growth | Your Nightly Prayer
Your Daily Prayer
Do you ever feel like you should be further along by now?
More patient.
More disciplined.
More healed.
More spiritually mature.
More certain.
More changed.
We live in a world that rewards speed, visible progress, and instant results.
But growth rarely works that way.
Tonight’s Your Nightly Prayer is a reminder that God is not rushing you.
Tonight’s Scripture
“Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green.” — Psalm 92:13-14
A plant doesn't grow because we stare at it harder.
It needs time.
Water.
Light.
Nourishment.
Deep roots.
Our spiritual growth often works the same way.
God isn't asking you to manufacture transformation overnight.
He is asking you to remain planted.
Stay in His Word.
Stay connected to Him.
Keep obeying.
Keep showing up.
Keep letting Him deepen the roots you can't always see.
Some of the most important growth in your life may be happening beneath the surface.
And Psalm 92 gives us an even more beautiful promise:
Growth does not have an expiration date.
Young or old, you can still flourish.
You can still bear fruit.
You can still become more deeply rooted in Christ.
Tonight, stop measuring your life only by what has bloomed.
Trust what God may be growing underground.
🙏 Where have you been trying to rush your own growth?
You can simply pray:
“Jesus, help me stay planted and trust Your pace.”
