In recent months and years, we’ve seen huge increases in immigration enforcement in the United States, resulting in mass detentions and fearful neighbors. What does it mean to love our neighbors in the anti-immigrant climate we find ourselves in? How can we pass on a better narrative about immigration to our kids than the one we’ve received? These aren’t easy questions, and there aren’t easy answers, but God has wisdom to guide us through times of fear and injustice like these.
In this free webinar, authors Daniel Yang and Rachel Uthmann will share honest, practical wisdom from their work with refugees and their experience as parents, creating space for learning and questions around the issue of immigration and how we parent our children to have God’s heart for immigrants.

Rachel Uthmann is director of training at the International Association for Refugees, where she equips Christians for faithful service among people forcibly displaced from their homes by violence or persecution. She is also a master facilitator with the Healing the Wounds of Trauma program and is author of The Faithful Innkeeper.
Daniel Yang serves as the senior director of global mission and church movements for World Relief. Prior to that he was the director of the Church Multiplication Institute at the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center. He is a speaker, missional strategist, and consultant, and the coauthor of Inalienable and Becoming a Future-Ready Church.
