Everything Looked Lost… Then God Stepped In

Psalm 126 opens with people living through exactly that.

They were looking back at a reversal so sudden and so complete that when it happened, they could barely believe it was real. It did not come slowly. It did not come in stages they could measure. It came all at once, out of a season that looked permanently settled — and the shock of it was so overwhelming that they reached for the only comparison big enough to describe it.

It felt like a dream.

That is the exact word they used. What had looked finished turned around so dramatically, so quickly, that living through it felt like something they would wake up from. And the way it happened — the timing, the speed, the completeness of it — reveals something about how God moves in the seasons YOU have already given up on that most people never stop to notice.
