Enoch Walked With God — The Hebrew Meaning You Might’ve Missed!

Join me as I study Genesis 5:22 all about how Enoch Walked With God! I did a deep study doing Verse Mapping and Bible Study.

Meditating on Genesis 5:22–24 where it says “Enoch walked with God,” I noticed something beautiful. The same Hebrew verb for “walk” appears in Genesis 3:8 — when God was walking in the garden with Adam and Eve. This verb means to stroll continually — a repeated, intimate fellowship.
Enoch’s walk with God wasn’t a one-time event; it was a daily, ongoing relationship. Unlike the others in Genesis who “lived and died,” Enoch walked with God and was no more.
My prayer today: to walk closely with God all the days of my life. 🌿
