Ending September with Steady Hope | Your Nightly Prayer

Maybe you didn't.

Maybe this month brought an unexpected answer.

A disappointment.

A difficult relationship.

Financial stress.

Exhaustion.

Or something you're still trying to understand.

Before September ends, you don't have to pretend everything went well.

But you also don't have to carry the weight of this month into the next one.

Tonight's Your Nightly Prayer is an invitation to re-anchor your hope.

Tonight's Scripture

“Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal.” — Isaiah 26:4

Our circumstances change.

Our plans change.

Our emotions change.

Our months certainly don't always go according to plan.

God doesn't change.

That's why our hope cannot ultimately rest on how productive we were, how many goals we reached, how smoothly life went, or whether we received the answer we wanted.

God Himself is our Rock.

So before October begins, take an honest look back.

What are you grateful for?

What disappointed you?

What remains unfinished?

What are you still carrying?

Then bring all of it to God.

You don't need a perfect September to enter October with hope.

🙏 What do you need to leave with God before this month ends?

Pray:

“Jesus, I release what I cannot change, thank You for what You've done, and re-anchor my hope in You.”
